Role Overview

The Agadia Systems’ Clinical Data Analyst will lead clinical data and analytical projects.  The Clinical Data Analyst is the subject matter expert as it relates to the product suite. This person will work closely with the products and IT team.

  • Comprehends the organization’s strategic vision alongside the analytic and reporting necessities essential for departmental fulfillment.
  • Converts business inquiries and demands into technical requirements for analytics, encompassing data analytics design, clinical and data specifications, and reporting structures.
  • Guides the formulation and retrieval of data from diverse origins.
  • Ensures accuracy and quality of data from diverse origins.
  • Compile on-demand report inquiries involving relational datasets, including clinical attributes, Generic Product Indicator (GPI), National Drug Code (NDC), RxCUI, MEDID, DDID, GCN Seq. No., HCPCS, and ICD-10 from databases.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements related to data processing, data integrity, and quality.
  • Identifies and executes appropriate test scenarios to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Evaluate formulary status inquiries to ascertain the necessity for action within the Formulary Workplace.
  • Aid with project endeavors, such as new client introductions, compliance with new regulations, the creation or revision of Desktop Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, generation of job aids, auditing, and enhancing the formulary database.
  • Present findings and data as needed to the key stakeholders.
  • Thorough analysis of user requirements/use cases and understanding of application functionality from a user perspective
  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and solution-level test cases.
  • Design, develop, execute, review, and maintain test automation scripts to meet business needs.
  • Document all execution test results and defects identified.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Pharmacy technician preferred.
  • Knowledge of prescription drug formulary.
  • Knowledge in developing algorithms based on clinical concepts, data elements, and FDB/Medi-Span concepts.
  • Formulary workplace experience a plus.
  • Experience in Clinical programs/services:  MTM, Transitional Care, Medication Synchronization, Drug Management Program, Medication Reconciliation, and/or Specialty Pharmacy a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in pharmacy operations or the managed care industry (PBM, health plan, PBA, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of RxNorm and First DataBank and/or Medi-Span (two of three is a must, with one being RxNorm).
  • Solid understanding of the US healthcare marketplace and government programs such as Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Knowledge and understanding in CMS/Regulatory/Compliance a plus.
  • Able to Travel: minimal (2 – 4 times per year).

  • Experience with agile planning, sprinting, and reviews a plus.
